Joey had a visit in school on Friday from the author Kate O'Hearn. Since the year 11's have just been given their exam papers this week we set up a still life for them to start off their coursework for it. Included in the set up were two masks my parents brought back from their cruise. Here is my drawing of one of them...I think it came out quite nice. Have stitched another Gecko by Kate at Sparklies. This time on her gorgeous sunflowers evenweave and made into a bookmark for my auntie's friend. I added an outline around the gecko to anchor it more to the bright pink felt I attached to the back.

My mum and I took Joey to the International Space Centre in Leicester after visiting A Crafty Natter meetup in Chaddesdon, Derby. He was running around the centre from one space thing to another and really enjoyed the 'We are astronomers' film. We also found this little chap in the light cage for the spaceman.

I think I've been getting better at my tangling as I've now created a few more pages to add to my image library for my Etsy store, and create them as cross stitch patterns although finding Jane Greenoff's new cross stitch programme very hard to save anything.
