Spent today manipulating fabric and a favourite of mine so far is using bottles.

I cut the bottoms off the bottles to use as a grid.
You then push fabric into them and iron interfacing on the back. This means that the shape is held together by the interfacing. Here is my sample:

And here is what it looks like on the stand.

Here is a nother sample I did. I put things in the fabric this time as it was a mesh fabric so you can see through it.

Wow, that is clever. When I put wrinkles in fabric using interfacing its usually a mistake!
