Tatty Teddy Finish

I finally finished this Tatty Teddy from Cross Stitch Crazy, it was one of two SAL's on Facebook group Cross Stitch friends in the UK which ran from February to April.

Started February 24th:

And finished today, April 30th:


Was a quick stitch actually if I had continued with it when I first started it lol.

Have made some great progress on my teddy witch and I don't think it will take much longer to finish so I will have the full set soon.

Day 3 and I've been all the way to Romford to buy the missing threads for my fourth project only to forget the paper I wrote the numbers on and only coming home with one of the correct colours. I have also started my teddy and made some good progress. (Cloick photo to enlarge)

UFO Progress!

Managed to get quite a lot done on my UFO this week! Have finished my Indian teddy, backstitch and beads all done. I also added the bead on the hat of the Mandarin bear.

Yep more UFO progress I'm afraid, not much else to report as I am behind on quite a lot stitching wise. Beginning to learn not to take on too much at once.

Almost finished the last bear now, just have two colours left to fill in and then the outlining and beads. Then a couple of borders and the whole thing is finished! YAY!

UFO Night...

I haven't posted in a while about my UFO progress because I started stitching a secret piece for christmas and so only those on A Crafty Natter and Stitch and Stashers have seen my progress. Anyway I have now finished that piece and have returned to my Teddy RR. Here is my progress, before and after:





I now need to find the other colours so I can finish it as I have finished the colours I had lol.

Ok ladies here is my progress on my new UFO. I have two bears to finish and I have made a start lol.

New UFO...

Having completed my Renni Mackintosh design I was left wondering what to start next from my box of UFOs.

I've decided to get out my Teddy RR which was completed on the Aion-needlecrafts board which unfortunately closed a little over 2 years ago I believe. It was a 4 person RR and I had 6 bears so I have 2 left to stitch and a couple of borders to fill in. They are quite easy to stitch so now it's a case of finding all the threads and cracking on.

This is what it has looked like since I received it back from the RR. I'm hoping the picture is a little clearer to you than it is to me lol.

New UFO

Well in theory its an old UFO lol. I started this for a friends birthday when I first started Uni but I guess I didn't like the white lol. Anyway I have made some progress on it for this weeks UFO Night so here is what it looked like before I picked it up:

Finally Framed!

As I am currently in the process of moving the furniture in my livingroom to create more space and tidy up I finally framed my Bad to the Bone piece as I have had the frame for some time now. In all honesty it could've done with a quick iron before putting in the frame.



If you look really closely you might be able to see the chocolate stain on the bottom which is why I hadn't framed it earlier. I really want a nice blue mount for it to cover it up and frame it properly but I just haven't had the patience to measure it and go get a mount made. Ho hum this will have to do for now!

Here are a couple more pics of displays I have now sorted my pictures into.

The Teddy Wizard has come down from the shelf because it was too big to put anything else up there. Now displayed with a picture from the Nickelback concert, my TUSAL jar and the mannequin I bought at this years Stitch & Craft show at Olympia.



And lastly I have a birth sampler that my Grandmother made for Joey complete with his time, weight and date although I have disfigured the digits.
