Giveaway update

I have now posted more than 775 posts so I feel it is time to close my giveaway.

After having only two entries on it I will be making up prizes for both participants.

Post #752, giveaway time!

After 750 posts I've had over 12,000 views! What an amazing time! Thankyou to everyone who has followed me over the past few years and I hope you have enjoyed reading my posts and seeing my updates.

As another thankyou I will be holding a giveaway for my readers. Winner will receive one of my printed notebooks and a quilted bag to carry it in, as well as some sewing/crafting extras.

2011 finishes giveaway...

I have started a list of all my finishes for this year so far. Anyone want to guess how many finishes I will have throughout the year??? I have recently started to clear out some of my stitching bits so there may be a nice prize at the end of the year for whoever gets the total right!

My giveaway winner was Lucy and when I joined the ATC exchange at Exchange Heaven I also received her as my partner which was great because I sent it all together but didn't want to spoil the surprise that she would be receiving both from me lol.

Anyway my parcel was received the day after I took it to the post office. Lucy sent me this lovely email which I hope she doesn't mind me sharing :)

"WOW!! I was truely blessed today when a parcel from you turned up. Thank you so much for all the lovely bits. I just adore the bag and my mind is whizzing with ideas to decorate it. The needlebook is gorgeous and will certainly be well used and the keyring has gone straight onto my handbag. And all the lovely bits and pieces.... felt, ribbon, needles and thread. The little hair rose and a yankee candle which smells divine. I am absolutely bowled over.

And of course many many thanks for the beautiful atc. Its really pretty."

The ATC I made was themed pink unlike the giveaway which was clearly black & white lol.

On the back I attached a card with my name, blog details etc, and wrote the date, what fabric I used and the thread colour.

Lucy does have some clearer photos over on her blog lol.

Giveaway received...

Have just received the sweetest email from Heather about the giveaway prize I sent her, I hope she doesn't mind but I wanted to share it with everyone:

"All I can Say is Wow. Your parcel arrived last night and it is amazing. The stitched piece has to be my most favorite stitch piece ever received and all the goodes, wow. You picked things so me. I can't believe it. It came after a really hard week so it was sucha treat."

So here are some pictures of what I sent:









The stitched piece has 3 loops of ribbon at the bottom and a Book ring for floss, as well as felt on the back to hold needles. I also sent Lavender Body Lotion & Hand Lotion, a Lemon Lavender Yankee Candle, John James Gold size 26 needles, Anchor & DMC threads - metallic, variegated, rayon & lavender scented, as well as 2 pieces of purple felt, one being spotty.

I'm so glad you liked it, I loved making it!!!!!

1st giveaway finally finished

My giveaway prize for Heather (which I think I've been meaning to get finished for a year now - Major fail on that one!) is now finished and packaged up ready for the post office! Cannot believe how easy it was with my new mini glue gun! Definitely a good investment for the year!

Heather your prize will have to be posted Monday I'm afraid. Had planned to get it shipped out this week but I have parent's evening at Joey's school tomorrow and then I am off to Leicester on Friday. It is all ready though so will take it to work with me Monday and take it to the post office once I've got Joey from school lol.

I am so glad you liked it Chris and that it cheered you up! I had such fun putting it all together, I just love those bath bombs and everything else. It became a very personal box lol. A little of me in a way. Anyway thankyou to everyone who wished me a happy Blogoversary!
