Blogoversary...
I have checked online and it says my blogoversary parcel was delivered today so here is a piccy of what I sent to Chris.
Strangely my theme became pink:

A scented heart pillow
A rose shaped keyring
A rose shaped candle
28ct Cashel Linen - Cameo Rose
A mini blackwork biscornu
Rose scented thread
Bright pink ribbon
And a Think Pink bath bomb from Lush.
Here is the biscornu I made-top:

bottom:

Here is it all boxed up:

I am so glad you liked it Chris and that it cheered you up! I had such fun putting it all together, I just love those bath bombs and everything else. It became a very personal box lol. A little of me in a way. Anyway thankyou to everyone who wished me a happy Blogoversary!

Colour Exchange...
This is the piece I made for the colour exchange on Exchange Heaven.
My partner was Susan and her colour choices were Red, Green / Blue. I had a quick look at her blog and chose to stitch this flowery design, #692 from my ‘Repertoire des Frises book’ and make it into a biscornu, adapting the pattern to create the bottom panel.

I am so pleased with how it turned out. I have loved stitching it and can’t wait for the next one. So glad you like it Susan!
I managed to take pictures step-by-step for another tutorial although I pretty much made it in the same way as the others.
Thanks for looking.

Student Arts and Crafts Fair
Well spent the day at the craft fair at University and whilst I was there I decided to take in my student loan letter too to make sure I got it before I started.
Anyway for our first day we managed to sell some notebooks and one of my lovely biscornu's! lol. Before I had even made it there was interest and as soon as it was put together I was asked how much I wanted for it.
In the end it sold for £5! Not bad for the first sale of the day lol.
Tomorrow I hope to sell many more! I will be making some up at the same time too lol so interest should be high.
I have taken pictures of it in the making up process so I will be setting up a step-by-step guide by the end of the week.

What to do??? What to do???
Yesterday I finished a biscornu square and today managed to finish two new patterns which I plan to put into my computer and print out as charts and kits to sell at the craft fair as well as ready made ones.
Well Joey has no swimming lesson today (again - he didn't have one last week either due to there being no teacher), really annoying when you pay £40 for 8 sessions and the teacher isn't even there! Hopefully these last two sessions will be added on after they are up.
Anyway so due to there being no swimming, I have had a very relaxing soak in the bath and we are going to take him to Hannah Banana to have lunch/tea and play on all the rides etc. So much fun!!!!!
Will check back in later!
Hope everyone has a nice day!

Not in the greatest of shapes
Over the last few days I've not been feeling too well. My little boy was sick all day Sunday and I felt sick all Monday night. Was ratty yesterday and now today I'm am all bunged up with flu (I think).
Anyway I went to the doctors about my foot hurting today and he said I had pulled a muscle in the base of my foot - probably due to me being at the gym every day for the last two weeks (of which I'm not used to).
So now I have flu and can't walk! How wonderful has this week turned out to be? lol.
Hope nobody else is feeling as rough as me right now! It's not nice at all and I hate being ill. The last time I was properly ill I spent two weeks sleeping on my parents sofa, but that was a few years ago now!
At least now it means, I can now do lots of stitching because I can't go anywhere. So looks like I may be able to get some biscornu's made up today and also some of my Teddy Wizard for UFO Night too! Oh and of course my University work, I do have another week , yet IT STILL NEEDS TO BE DONE!
Progress pics will be posted so keep your eyes peeled! lol.
